A foraged mushroom ale that captures the terroir of Tahoe National Forest in an incredibly sessionable and unique drinking experience. Earthy, meaty, and crisp, Dirt Candy showcases foraged turkey tail mushrooms captured with local mycologist @annieknowby, locally grown lacto fermented oyster mushrooms from @biggestlittlemushrooms, a delicate dose of premium English caramel malt, and a touch of campfire smoke.
Fugue : 6.9% : Pale Ale
A dream within a dream, Fugue is an insanely crisp and dry pale ale delicately dry hopped with select simcoe and centennial hops. Designed and crafted with drinkability in mind, Fugue transports to a dream world, where sessionability and flavor coexist on a higher plane of harmony. Notes of grapefruit zest, dank citrus, and wheat thins.
Double Fuzz : 8.2% : Double NEIPA
An odyssey of fuzz, this tone tempest is supercharged with 4lbs/bbl of Strata and Sabro. Coconut and overripe pineapple flavors vibrate on the same frequency as the acid dealer at a Grateful Dead after party. Too loud to hear, too bright to see.
Hobgoblin Drum Circle : 6.7% : Mosaic NEIPA
Say the sacred words. Pound the drums. Invoke the hallowed aromas of Mosaic. Transport yourself to a world where tropical fruits and wild blueberries have taken over. Fall deeper into a Mosaic cryo sleep. IPA chakras have aligned. All is good in the universe. All is good.
Little Feather : 3.8% : Mosaic Blueberry Sour
Loaded with fresh blueberry juice, craft @40milemalt red wheat and barley, and delicately dry hopped with mosaic, Little Feather takes flight with intense berry aroma and flavor. Pouring a deep magenta and boasting a jammy, yet balanced acidity, this Berliner Weisse has massive berry cobbler flavors and a soft, pie crust linger in the back palette.
Range of Light : 6.4% : Evergreen Juicy IPA
California blue juniper berries layered on an intense Citra dry hop. Juicy Mandarin and lemon pith with delicate aroma and flavor notes of pine and forest. A soft and pillowy base beer married to a fresh spring hike through the forest.
Sword of Night : 5.6% : Marzen
A beautiful märzen brewed crafted with top shelf German Barke Pilsner malt and cold conditioned for 2 months until crisp and smooth, Sword of Night is a malty lager that shines through with biscuity, fresh baked bread flavors and a super clean finish.
Bourbon barrel aged Milkwood : 9.5% : Mocha Stout
Bourbon Barrel Aged Milkwood utilizes imported English caramel malts, flaked oats, milk sugar, and dark chocolate malt. After fermentation, Milkwood was conditioned on Ghana cacao nibs and artisanal Ethiopian, Yemeni, and Brazilian coffee. Matured in bourbon barrels for almost a year until it was dripping with bourbon/mocha flavors and aromas, this monster has ascended from darkness and is ready to haunt your glass.
Rye barrel aged Milkwood : 9.5% : Mocha Stout
The last of our barrel aged Milkwood variants drops today and we couldn’t be more excited to share the results of this delicious labor of love. It started as a collaboration with @darkhorsetruckee building a decadent imperial stout with artisanal roasted Ethiopian, Yemeni, and Brazilian beans. We then conditioned the vanta black base beer on Ghana cacao nibs until it was dripping with mocha and espresso notes. This particular variant was put to bed in Rye barrels for almost a year and the result is a complex, rich, spirited stout.
